I spoke with HP about a migration that I need to do in order to get a server
off it's old hardware - they sold me on a DL320g5p along with their Server
Migration Pack. A couple hours into everything, after setting up the
application station, source server with its proper application, destination
server with its boot cd - I arrived at an error that the hardware does not
support the OS of the migration.

Now, HP is telling me it's the server, they don't have a final answer.

For anyone that's dones windows 2000 migration just to get off hardware and
virtualization wasnt an option, what hardware did you go with? what did you
use to perform the migration (other than reinstalling).

Also, the win2000 server is service pack 4, is a web server so runs IIS
along with cold fusion mx. Old server is a pentium 3 1.2 ghz, 1 gb ram.

Curious to see feedback / recommendations from others, thanks for reading!
