Hello- Brand new computer bought today with Win 2000 Pro
installed. Right now I just have one hard drive, 60 gig.
I would like to partition the hard drive so that Win 2000
is sitting on it's own partition, and all my
files/work/programs, etc., will be seperate. Can someone
tell me how to do this with the operating system already
installed? TIA- Lynne

You will need a third party utility such as Partition Magic by
www.pqmagic.com (i believe) there are many available that will do your task,
that is the only one I am familar with and have used.

Hello!

Make use of any partitioner that allows to split partitions. Below are some
of them:

Partition Magic from PowerQuest - http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

OS Selector 5.0 Deluxe from Acronis - http://www.acronis.com/products/oss50

System Commander 7.0 from V-com - http://www.v-com.com/product/sc7_ind.html

There are more of them...
