Hello,

Why am I getting this message under Event Viewer-->System...

<<Scope, 10.0.0.0, is 100 percent full with only 0 IP addresses remaining.>>

and

<<The DHCP service has cleaned up the database for multicast IP addresses --
0 leases have expired (been marked for deletion) and 0 records have been
removed from the database. >>

I have a scope set up for 10.0.0.3 to 10.0.0.10 and all but 10.0.0.3 are
showing up as Id=RAS in DHCP Admin.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Doreen

When you enable "obtain IP from DHCP" in RAS the clients do not in fact
get their IP numbers from DHCP directly.
The RAS server leases a number of IPs from DHCP (the actual number is a
registry setting, the default is probably 10), uses one of them as its RAS
address and issues the others to RAS clients as required.

So this is what you are seeing. RAS has gobbled up your IP numbers

Thank you...so this showing up as a "warning" is more of an FYI.   Is this message below related in anyway because they tend to follow one another each time...

<<Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed because no DNS servers are available. >>

Thank you!  Doreen
