I'm trying to connect two networks using Windows 2000 Server. Routing
and Remote Access is installed and configured as a network router. Here
is my info:
Network 1 (internal) 192.168.225.0 255.255.255.0 (192.168.225.1) gw
192.168.225.1.
Netword 2 (external) 192.168.222.16 255.255.255.240 (192.168.222.22) gw
192.168.222.17 (Cisco Router with ext of 192.168.120.29).
I have a computer on the inside (192.168.225.20) and a computer on the
outside (192.168.222.18 & 192.168.120.79). I'm also connected to
192.168.120.0 network as well. From the 225.20 computer, I can ping all
the way to the 120.0 network and the 222.16 network. However, I cannot
ping back from 222.16 to 225.0. I tried making a static route of:
destin-192.168.225.0 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.222.22 on external
interface, but it did not seem to work. Why can I not route from ext to
int? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank You.
