I have just upgraded our domain from NT4 to Windows 2003. RRAS is installed
on the only (currently) DC. I am getting the following errors on just about
every PC in the domain.

Event id: 8032
Source: Browser
Description: The browser service has failed to retrieve the backup list too
many times on transport of <protocol_netcard>. The backup browser is
stopping.

Could this be related to the fact that remote access is installed on the DC?
This in effect makes it a mulithomed machine. The only other issues I can
find with this error have to do with File and Printer Sharing, which is
enabled everywhere. Any insights on this error would be appreciated.

Yes, it probably is. Do you have RRAS enabled for remote access?

When a remote client connects, the server acquires an additional IP
for its "internal" interface. So your DC, which is the domain master
browser, is now multihomed. If LAN clients use the "wrong" IP to try to get
the browse list, they fail. This forces a browser election.

The solution is to disable Netbios over TCP/IP on the RAS interface.
This requires adding an extra entry in the registry. See MS KB 292822.
