yup.. there is a way to set the timelimit.
Just do this:
Open Routing and Remote Access.
Select your server.
Open Remote Access Policies.
You must find a Policy listed down there.
Select the policy and right-click and goto properties
Click on Edit Profile button.
Edit Dial-In Profile window opens.
There you can find two checkboxes
1) Disconnect if idle for --- mins (keep this disabled)
2) Restrict maximum session to -- mins (this must have
been enabled and set to 20 mins.. disable if you don't
want a session timeout limit).

hope this helps !

bye,
praveen.

Question, I have a problems thats about the same but from what I watched the
VPN Server computer reboot after about 20min of VPN idle. Check to make
sure your VPN server is not rebooting. Im still trying to figure this out
myself. I installed Win2k on another machine fresh and it dose the same
thing. The one that was an old install was SP2 upgraded to SP3 and when it
was Sp2 it worked fine.
