We occasionally get this error message in our event viewer
system log " The master browser has received a server
announcement from the computer Purchase_1 (client pc)that
believes that it is the master browser for the domain on
transport NetBT_Tcpip_{268A4EF0-261A-426. The master
browser is stopping or an election is being forced." We
have one Win2k domain controller and a Unix box, only 50
users that are all part of a workgroup. Does anyone have
any idea how to resolve this issue or were I can research
it? I tried the MS knowledge base and a few other sites,
but no luck.
