NetBT error, event 4319

I am getting the following error message frequently:

Description:
A duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The
IP address of the machine that sent the message is in the
data. Use nbtstat -n in a command window to see which name
is in the Conflict state.

but I don't know how to fix it. I do also have an internal
ipaddress for the server (Internal: Node IpAddress:
[192.0.0.1] Scope Id: []) but there's no conflict there.

Any advice on how to fix this will be appreciated.

Hi Anna,

Is this happening on a DC that is the PDC emulator? The entry in conflict
appears to be the domain 1Dh record which indicates the domain master
browser role (which belongs to the PDC role holder).

\\<domain_name>[1Dh]

This instance of the domain name is registered only by the Master
Browser, of which there can only be one for the domain. This name is
used by the Backup Browsers to communicate with the Master Browser in
order to retrieve the list of available servers from the Master
Browser.

Are you getting any browser related events also?

I'm afraid your explanation is somewhat above my level of
understanding.
As to your question, only in 3% of event 4319, a browser
event 8005 is also registered.
All this doesn't interfere with any of the functions of
the server or the network, but I would like to understand
it and mainly to get rid of it.
