Microsoft does not offer a free download of Windows 2000 and it's no
longer for sale.
You will need to purchase Windows XP Home or Vista and run that in Boot
Camp (free) or under something like Parallels or VMWare.
You might want to first try CrossOver Mac from
<http://www.codeweavers.com>. This allows you to run Windows
applications without Windows and you'd save money. They offer a trial
download to test.
Hope this helps!
