I am guessing that this is referring to some hardware problem since the
problem seems to disappear after the machine starts to heat up. I have
looked all over the Microsoft web site and my copy of Windows 2000
Resource Kit and can't find any reference to this 'TRAP' message. Just
looking the message over I can't see anything that gives any hints to
where the problem might be.
Does anyone have any ideas or know how to read this Greek stuff? I'd
really appreciate the help before her machine is totally unbootable and
I'll never be able to find the answer.

[snip BSOD]
Well, those are register dumps and are only useful for programmers.
Did you try support.microsoft.com? I suspect there is more to this
error, does it come up with anything like a STOP error? There is a
list of hexadecimal values for STOP errors that can help to pinpoint
the problem (and describes for a whole list of STOP errors).
Go to support.microsoft.com and search for article Q137539.

TRAP messages are error conditions caught by the NT Bootloader and are
not properly Kernel errors. Those class or errors are your STOP
message, aka. BSOD.
Generally, if you get a TRAP message it means there's a hardware
problem in the system. The first place to start is reseat the RAM,
peripheral cards and check cabling.
After that point I'd call the vendor if it's under warranty.
Otherwise, you'll pull out the RAM and hardware tester and diagnose
what's faulty in the system.
Good luck.
cheers.
