Windows 2000 SP3 failure

again. When I try to install Win2000 SP3 I'm getting an error message that
my
mplayer2.inf file is open or in use. I can't find any application that is
using the file. I've tried running chkdsk and rebooting, but still no go.
Any help would be appreciated.

This is a media player file, try booting in safe mode or use that old standby
msconfig for programs that are running on boot up...get it from the following

fyi - you can expect problems if you didn't reboot your computer before
installing sp3 - fwiw
