I am running Windows 2K. I had to reboot to free up some
memory and when the reboot was complete a program was
automatically installing on my system w/o prompting me. I
noticed it was deleting files (none of which looked like
system or data files) and gave me the option of
cancelling, which I did. The program was "Advanced INF".
What is this? SHould I let it install if it tries again?

Thanks in advance.

You can open the file advanced.inf in Notepad and see if there is any information in it you can glean what it's about.
