What exactly gets back up in System State backup?

I need to know what exactly will be backed up when using W2K Backup and
the System State backup option.
Will my OUtlooke Expresse mail be backed up as well as my bookmarx?
When I did this backup once I had an approx. 200Mb size file.

It depends on the systems role. It backs up:
the registry
Class registration database
System boot files
Certificate server databases if it is a certificate server
Sysvol folder on Domain controllers
Active directory on Domain Controllers

It will not backup outlook and bookmarks, you have to select those items
manually.
