Just noticed RMCTRL.EXE running in the task manager. Any Idea what it
is? Wasn't there a week ago. I've tried google, yahoo, and microsoft
and can't seem to find any relevant information. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hello

Possibility of Remote Control EXE. Have any wireless apps attached or did you install a driver for an app
that has a Remote option in it.

Regards

Is PowerDVD installed? It runs such a program at startup.

Search for the executable, when you find it right click on it, select
properties, click on the Version tab to see information such as the Company
Name, Description etc.

Yep and I just remembered installing that about a week ago. Although
I can't figure out why it needs to be running all the time. Do you
know exactly what it's for and any way to keep it from running at
startup besides removing it from the registry?

Thanks
