I have 2gig on my C drive and it is FAT. I also have a D
drive with 17Gig. Only 3gig is being used on D. I'm
running Win2k and my C: drive is completely full!!

Does anyone know if it is possible for me to take free
space from D and put it on C? Also, Can I use
convert.exe to safely convert my C drive from FAT to NTSF
at the same time? Which would be done first?

Thanks!

You'll need to use a 3rd party utility like partition magic to resize your
partitions. Convert is safe to use and can be done at any time but will need
a restart.

Open a command prompt and type "convert c: /fs:ntfs

I'm in a similar situation.....I have a 4GB drive (C:)
and I only have around 1GB remaining. However, I am
running RAID and do have 4 drives remaining, each 12GB.
What can I do to replace this drive that has my W2K OS on
it and place it on a much larger drive. I was told that
a 4GB drive was plenty for my W2K. I'm afraid if I don't
act now that it's definitely going to start impacting the
network.

Really the C drive should be 4 GB (I made mine 5), not 2, but what you could
try is moving things like your swap file, documents etc to the D drive... I
might help a little for a while.

Use AOMEI Partition Assistant to allocate free space from D drive to C drive and covert fat to NTFS.
