My laptop is now in an infinite setup loop:
Boot
Detect and configure devices (takes really long!)
Setup Start Menu
Register components
Reboot
...repeat process
I left it on overnight and it kept on going and going and going and going.
There's no place for me to stop the process. I can turn off the computer,
but it just starts the whole process again. I can get to the boot menu by
pressing F8, but that's about it.
Anyone know how I can make it stop....and work....?
Specs:

Latest Win2K ACPI compatible BIOS from IBM installed
6 GB NTFS partition
500 MB FAT DOS partition with Win2K install files from CD

Win2K/RC2 was working fine

If it helps anyone with the problem, clean install on another partition
worked perfectly on the first try for me..
