W2K Advanced Server + Windows Media Player

Hi there:

Well, Windows Media player is screwed. I don't know what's wrong with
it either..how do I re-install it? I've looked on my Advanced Server cdrom
and there's nothing visible as Internet Explorer addons...

I can't even open up the program. I'll "preview" and play the vids
(mpg and avi) in the little left hand side preview window, but that's
it...any suggestions?

run sfc /scannow at the command prompt. that may help
