auto dial-up connection hangs after several days of use

did anybody have this problem or know how to help:
i'm using win2k with ms proxy server 2.0 and an auto-dialup (isdn)
connection to my isp. everything works fine for a couple days but then a
dial-ups hangs and i cannot disconnect the connection anymore.
network-neighborhood properties say the status is "dialing" but the line is
offline. when i try to disconnect i get an error message. i tried to stop
ras & routing service but this won't solve the problem.
i solve this by rebooting every few days, but that cannot be the solution.
is this a driver problem with my isdn-card? any idea?
