Is there any way to configure ICS so that if a user is not logged into the
Workstation/Server with the connection to the internet, the network client
can still initiate a dial out connection? I can do this very easily with
Winproxy, but with W2K server/workstation, if a user is not logged in, the
nodes on the network cannot get out to the net. Any ideas?

Add the user on the remote system as a "local" user on the system with ICS
on it.

The client machines are Windows 98 machines and the accounts that the users
of the Windows 98 machines are domain users on the Windows 2000 Server that
has the shared connection to the internet. This does not work. Am I
missing something?

I guess I misunderstood. I interpreted your question to be if the user did
not log into the domain, then how could they access the Internet connection.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I've never configured this in a
Domain, before.
