Hopefully, a quick question. I am still working through my first setup with
Win2K RC2 NAT, trying it as a replacement to proxy server is a small
environment. When configuring a static route, do you have to set one up for
just the NIC connected to the Internet or do I have to set one up for the
NIC on the private segment as well? (as of now, there is only 1 static route
set to the adapter on the Internet (public) connection It's setup with
0.0.0.0 for dest. and 0.0.0.0 for netmask and the default gateway provided
by my ISP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)

I just can't seem to get it setup with my internal win95 network clients.
In the documentation, it states that once setup, clients will get default
gateway, DNS, and WINS server addressing from the WIN2K DHCP. When I run
winipcfg on the client pc's, all I get is an ip address and a subnet mask
(192.168.0.2 - 255.255.255.0) Internal DHCP is 192.168.0.1

if your ISP is providing you a static IP use it if you are getting your IP
via DHCP set the NIC for DHCP. Enable NAT and assign the static IP of
192.168.0.1 to the second NIC. Open up Admin Tools and goto DHCP and create
a scope now create a pool of address that the clients will use create as
many as you want starting address will be 192.168.0.1 ending will be
192.168.xxx.xxx. Reserved IP will be 192.168.0.1 you will need to provide
the machine name it will be the name of the Win2K RC2 and the MAC Address of
the 2nd NIC. Now enable and configure DNS
