I currently run a Foxpro 2.6 app for DOS on WIN95/WIN98. The app accesses
databases on a central server.

I have been informed that NT (and 2000?) create virtual dos sessions for
each instance of a dos application, but will have problems when the app
tries to access the hardware directly. Do reads/writes and network printing
constitute accessing the hardware directly (ie the Lan card etc etc)???
i.e. which operating system - 9x, NT or 2000????
HELP PLEASE.....
