Installing CD writer under W2000

Hi,
I've Win2000 (Pro), I'd like to install my CD-writer (Phillips CDD2600).
But all the software don't recognize a CD-Writer : they only see a normal CD
drive.

u have to install an aspi layer. it wil be installed when you install
adaptec cd burning software (easy cd creator).

I've installed one : the software (Adaptec, Nero ...) recognize my CD Writer
...
But when I start to Burn ... it makes an error ... I didn't have this
problem with Win98 !
