Yamaha CDR-100 seen as WORM Device in device manager, Adaptec CD Creator
installs, CDR-100 shows in bottom of screen in application, but does not see
as a device otherwise, and CDRWin sees Yamaha and works, what do I need to
do??

I hate to break this to you but.. there are NO Drivers/supports for the
Yamaha cdr 100/102 in Win2k. I own the same CDR and I suffer the same fate.
Perhaps when windows 2000 is finally on the shelves there will be support.
For now though, same message as you. That's why also in win9x it required
customized aspi drivers as well. If you do solve this, please let me know.

The same thing happened to me. I installed some available Aspi driver I
found on the CDRW site. I use Nero and it worked. Now I un-installed the
device in device manager and selected install a new device from list:
Surprise W2000 proposed a list of Generic CD drivers I didn't see before. I
selected, and now I have it installed in the Explorer too.

What CDRW site did you get these from?? I have a similar problem with a
Pinnacle Micro RCD-1000 drive showing up as a Worm device under 'Other
Devices' and not installed properly. CDRWin and Nero both see the drive but
unfortunately neither will write my data correctly. I need to run Adaptec
EZ CE Creator and it doesn't know the drive exists.

Thanks in advance for your help
