1.) Can you setup 2 Windows 2000 pro work station machines to network in a
peer to peer network?

2.) Can you setup a Windows 98 and Windows 2000 pro work station machine to
network in a peer to peer network?

Thanks

Yes, on both counts.

I have been able to setup a mini-LAN at home with my Win2K (RC2) system and
my room mate's Win98 but somehow I cannot see my HD's from the Win98 system
(I'm able to see the printer at the Win2K system though). I have already
setup 2 users (plus the administrator account) and all necessary permissions
on the Win2K system but somehow the Win98 system (which has the exact same
users/passwords as the Win2K system) does not have access to my Win2K
system. I can read/write to all HD's from my station to the Win98 system.
Any help (or reference book) will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Heriberto Babilonia

Did you actually create "shares" to be accessed on the W2K system?

I did but I was doing it incorrectly...  sorry about that!  Now everything works perfectly.  Thanks though.
