I did a clean install of Win2000. Everything went well. Network card
detected, device also reports that it's working fine. Protocols installed.
Yet I can't connect to the @home Internet system.
Although my IP is dynamically assigned. The only difference I can see from
the Win98 installation that works fine. Is the fact that if I PING myself I
have a 169.xxx address instead of the usual 24.xxx.xx I get when I connect
using Win98.
Could someone please shed some light.
Thanks,
Maurice.
