I have a hard time with one of my hard-drives in Windows XP Pro. I
know there are errors on one of my disks, but every time I scan the
disk I get no summary and no report about if there are Bad Blocks or
similar on the disk. I hate to see that I have to convert my disks
back to FAT32 so I can check them in Windows 98 or something
(scandisk.exe or Norton disk doctor), and that sucks.

Microsoft! Where are you when it comes to reporting errors

Also, I sometime get a sign in my tray (next to the clock) with an
exclamation mark on it, but the sign have no information when I click
on it, or when I hoover my mouse over it. I know Windows XP tries to
warn me about a Hardware failure, but the sign does not work.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
