Disabling firewall

I am using a dial-up account, and I am not able to disable the firewall.

Right-clicking and choosing properties on 'America Online, Lucent Win Modem'
does nothing, neither does clicking 'Change settings of this connection.' None
of the 'LAN or High Speed Internet' connections have the firewall enabled, and
of course the properties DO show up with each one. Why not the dial-up?
