I was installing Win2000 on a new partition, when I decided to cancel
it; However there
was no Cancel button, so I said to myself: alileh whole jame3it
Microsoft ma khatar 3abelon y7atto zir Cancel???
So I restarted my computer in the middle of the process.
Then, XP wouldn't boot anymore because a file (SYSTEM) in
windows/ssytem32/config/ was corrupted.
To fix that, I installed Win2000, completely this time, and installed
XP again (not on top of 2000, over its orignial place). Now I have
both OS - but I want to get
rid of Win2000 soon.
ta zid 3al tine balleh, not only most of the programs (including the
Visual Studio .NET, Photoshop, QuickTimePlayer...) arent working
anymore, but the drive letters are now mixed
i.e. E:\ is now F:\
Is there a way to make the programs run again? Or do I have to
delete everyhting and reinstall them?
How can I get the original drive letters back ?

yeslamo
