This is for all of you that are using the 180 day trial of Windows XP. So
what is Windows XP like? Is it a little better than the previous versions
of Windows? Is it really as stable as Windows 2000? Are the games you put
on it, and don't tell me you aren't testing any games on it, how do they
run? I am askin these questions just to get some insight into what Windows
XP is like. I really don't have another system to put it on and see first
hand. Thanks for all of the input.

so? many people (myself included) are running Whistler Beta 2.
As for performance:
I can't compare stability to 2000, seeing as I don't have 2000, but it is
far more stable than 98 will ever hope to be. Most games run well on it, as
well as most applications. If you have the cash and the system to run it
when it's released, I'd definitely say go for it.

so far it is not as stable as win2k nor as fast ,but it is full of eye candy
it has some nice features but not enough to run out and snatch it up as soon
as it hits the stores. I would at least wait until the first service
release.

I find it faster than Windows 2k and the same stability however increased
application compatibility would make me opt for Windows XP over 2k

I do not find it as stable or fast as W2K so far W2K is
still top dog of the
windows OS's IMO. Will see final results of course when XP
is released.
XP on the otherhand is way better then the other OS's
based on the 9x kernal.
