When I select "Enable SourceSafe Internet for this computer" and press ok i
get immediately the popup "Visual SourceSafe Internet was not enabled on this
computer because IIS is not installed"

http://localhost proves that IIS is installed because i see the IIS7
splashscreen.

sysinternal's procmon says that sourcesafe tried to read HKRC\IIS in the
registry, which does not exist.

Did Windows7 change some registry stuff and now SourceSafe Internet can't
find it??

That was the first thing that I checked. There is only the Default Web Site.
My IIS install is fresh - i only installed it for sourcesafe internet, and
yes the ID=1 under Default WebSite/Advanced Settings.

this didn't help.
ID==1
I have no HKRC\IIS in my registry.
Did Win7 change something in IIS about registry?
