WOWEXEC caused a General Protection Fault in module...

Hello everyone. I am getting error message during
installation VSS 6.0. I am using Windows 2000
Professional. The exact error message is:

WOWEXEC cause a General Protecion Fault in module
KRNL386.EXE at 0001:1F69.

Choose close. WOWEXEC will close


I am logged on to with Administrative rights
Any ideas?

This seems pretty serious and not something I've heard of on this
newsgroup. Apart from reinstalling Windows 2000, or maybe a service
pack, perhaps you could call MS Product Support.

Sounds like the NTVD is corrupt. Please see:
