Somebody pleeeeeease…..

I got Win98 on drive C and Windows NT4 Workstation(SP3) on drive D(NTFS). I
have installed Visual Studio 6.0 then I installed MSDN Library from August
98 all on my NT Workstation. My problem is : Everytime i tried to acces help
files from a Visual Studio application I got the following error message :
"The MSDN Collection does not exist. Please reinstall MSDN." I did that but
it doesn't work either. I have installed these applications (VS6,MSDN) in
every possible order and it still doesn't work! Is it because it is not
installed on drive C?

I hope somebody can help me!

Thanks

Visual Studio 6.0 was supposed to ship with MSDN Library - Visual Studio 6.0
or 6.0a which uses the new HTML Help viewer technology and has the ability
to provide help links from Visual Studio products. In some cases customers
received the MSDN Library - July 1998 as part of the Visual Studio package
in error. The July Library was the last MSDN Library to use InfoViewer as
the viewer technology - and will not provide help links from Visual Studio
products.

It's easy to tell if you have the wrong MSDN Library. MSDN Library - July
1998 will not contain VS 6.0 documentation and should be clearly marked
during install as July. The proper MSDN Library for VS has MSDN Library -
Visual Studio 6.0 label in setup and as the top level node in the
documentation TOC.
