Different icon for administrator accounts

I have a MFC app that was developed with VS-2005.

The .exe contains an ICON that I expect to see on the desktop. The icon
appears fine in Windows XP. However, in Vista and Windows 7 it appears
correctly for non-admin accounts only. For administrator accounts the
default MFC icon appears.

In a VS-2005 deployment project, is it necessary to specify the icon
differently for administrator accounts or is this just a bug in Vista and
Windows 7?
