Got a wacky solution for slow debugging in VS 2005!

So I have a HUGE solution in VS 2005, involving about 50+ projects in
VB, C# and J#. And since I migrated from VS 2003, debugging has been
PAINFULLY slow, >2 sec per debugging step!

So by accident, one of my colleagues discovered that if you wiggle your
mouse while you're debugging, everything works normally! I tried it on
my computer, and guess what! He was right! Near instantaneous
response, just the way it used to be in VS 2003!

I have two theories to explain this phenomenon:

1) VS 2005 is so high powered that normal mains power is insufficient
for debugging mode and you need to generate a little extra kinetic
energy from the mouse to make it run at a decent speed.
2) Somebody in MS really screwed up the event processing management in
debug mode.

Eagerly awaiting the hotfix for this bug...

:)

P.S. if you have the same problem with your edition of Visual Studio,
and the wiggle-the-mouse-while-using-keyboard-shortcuts solution works
for you, please do me the courtesy of sending me a simple "thanks"
email, just so I can have that warm fuzzy feeling that I made a
difference to somebody else's world... :)
