I appreciate that this is slightly off topic for the DAO group, however if
this goes wrong I will be in need of help from all sections later tomorrow.

I have to upgrade a series of Access 97 DB's to Access 2000 that are all
under Source Safe control (ver. 6, build 8383).

What is the best order to do things in?
Can you check out an Access 97 DB, compile it, then upgrade it to Access
2000, then simply resubmit it to VSS?

The reason that I would like to maintain VSS control is that there is a
complex pattern of sharing objects within each DB that would be difficult to
build from scratch.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
