checking in older versions

Hi,
Is it possible to gradually check into VSS versions of a project that are
older that the first version at which we started to use VSS?
I would appreciate any help.

Sure. Just get the old version via the History dialog, Check out the
current version, but don't get a local copy (turn on command dialogs
in options so that you'll see a dialog upon checkout). Then check in
the old version as if it were new.

If you never want to see the interim versions, you could use the
rollback feature (also from the History dialog).

Yes, but it may be more work than you're willing to do. You need to
start a new project or database, add all the old versions, one after
the other in the proper order, then add all the new versions in the
proper order.
