Is there a way to tell in SourceSafe whether or not Visual Studio Service
pack 3 was applied to it? I know that in Visual Basic, I can check the
About box and it'll actually say in parenthesis "(SP3)" to indicate that
service pack 3 was applied. thanks.

You have to look at the individual dll files that SP3 installs for VSS.
Look at the readme for the SP3 installation and it should list the files and
their dates.

Your version should be 6.0a after applying SP3.
It's 6.0 before SP3

Anyone know where to find just the VSS upgrade? 100+ megs is a little
extreme just for VSS.
