Your best bet for a Visio-like application on the Mac is
to use an application called ConceptDRAW. As far as I
know it only works on OSX. It's extremely Visio-like, but
definitely not as versitile as Visio.

Not as an app. A Mac -- and it's Mac, not MAC -- competitor is OmniGraffle.
Visio says the brower version runs on the Mac, but I have not tried it.
