maps of USA in Visio

Is anyone aware of how I can use maps of the US in
Visio? I've previously worked with a version of Visio
which had world and US map stencils, however, these do
not seem to be part of the current versions of Visio.
They may be an add-in. Does anyone know where I can get
this add-in from?

They are available in Visio 2002, Choose a blank drawing
(template) or other installed template. Chose File / Find
Shape. Click the options link of the Find Shape pane.
Ensure that Visio web shapes option is checked. Cancel
out this dialog and in Find Shape edit box, type keywords
such as Maps, United states etc. Click Go and that's it.
Geographic maps on US version of Visio 2002 exist for
United States Maps and World Maps.

Thanks Mairead for your help. This is a good start,
however, I'm unable to find any maps that have US state
boundaries. Older versions of Visio had US maps with the
states clearly marked. Are you aware of where I might
find these? Any advice on this would be greatly
appreciatged.

If you use the "Find Shape" under the File menu. It should bring up a
stencil for each state. (The option to search the internet should be on)

Thank you for keeping up with me on this enquiry.
Unfortunately, the state maps do not seem to include a
composite map of all states joined together as one
country while retaining the state boundary markings. I
am only able to find individual states in these searches,
with the web and local searches checked as "on". I'm
looking for a map of the US with clearly delimited state
boundaries. Thanks again for any help you can give.

I recently received notification from Microsoft via one of their news
letters that ythe maps are now avaliable on the WEB--see below. I was able
to access and use in Visio.
Download New Visio Geographic Maps Shapes
Add a geographic perspective to Visio diagrams using maps shapes that
represent countries and regions. Display sales territories, highlight the
physical location of equipment, or illustrate the international nature of
your business. To access the new shapes in Visio 2002, choose File/Find
Shape, enter the name of the map area, and click "Go" (make sure online
