Dimensions

Hi,

I have just created a Visio Building Plan with Visio 2003, and te
drawing is done to scale with correct dimensions.

I have tried but failed to find where to show the dimensions all the
time and not just when the room is clicked, as well as to print the
dimensions.

I believe the "dynamic dimensions" that you see on selection are intended as
a UI embellishment. If you want dimension lines that are always on, you need
to add actual dimension line shapes.

The easiest and quickest way to do this is to right-click a wall shape, and
choose "Add Dimension". This will put a dimension line on the selected wall.
To dimension other features, just copy any selected dimension line
(Ctrl+drag is fastest)

A variety of dimension line shapes can be found in the Dimensioing stencils
under the Visio Extras stencil group.
