VNE was dropped as a product, and the support of it in 2002. What are you
attempting to 'download'?

The symbol library for the Network Shapes. FOr example -
we have many Cisco 6509's deployed. I would like the auto
discovery map to properly show the device type - not just
a "generic cisco box". The original Visio Enterprise had
the ability (and library) of Cisco symbols. We purchased
the professional product, along with the year's
subscription to symbols. I have my key from Microsoft -
the website authentication process to download
somehow "knows" that my key is missing or the credentials
to download the proper symbol library.

this from the network center where the tool used to point

http://www.microsoft.com/office/visio/networkcenter/networkshapesearch.mspx

I would suspect that since the product has not been sold in almost two years
that a "years subscription" might now be over. MS has made a resource kit
available for a very reasonable price ($20USD) that you might want to
investigate as an alternative.
