I have a LARGE flow chart. It overflows one white page section ( the
page being the tab on the bottom in Visio ). Visio lets me place
blocks into area off the white area. This is great... but when I go
to print, Visio ONLY prints what is in the white page section..
Yes I can break up my diagram into multiple pages ( pages = thoses
tabs at the bottom of a visio design screen... they look more like
Excel Worksheet tabs ) but....
1) That is a hugh pain
2) It is hard for a user to follow flow from one page to another
I mean come on.. there has to be a way to print the entire page ( I
would call sheet ) in visio. NOTE: I do not care if the print out is
5 8"X11"pages long. I can tape the pages together.
Any help would be great!!
As you found out, only the part with the page background will print. You can
change the size of the page in Page Setup. Or drag the corner of the page
while holding the crtl key will make the page bigger.
Part of the reason you can place things outside the printable area is so you
can move groups of shapes off the printable area without having to delete
them.
