I am trying to remove the change button in ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS in a
customized install of Visio 2007. Although the option for making
modifications to the OCT has been blocked (ARPNOREMOVE), editing the
config.xml file still does not perform the added option. This is an example
of my config.xml file

<Configuration Product="VisPro">

<!-- <Display Level="basic" CompletionNotice="yes" SuppressModal="no"
AcceptEula="no" /> -->

<!-- <Logging Type="standard" Path="%temp%" Template="Microsoft Office
Visio Professional Setup(*).txt" /> -->

<!-- <PIDKEY Value="BCDFGHJKMPQRTVWXY2346789B" /> -->

<!-- <USERNAME Value="Customer" /> -->

<!-- <COMPANYNAME Value="MyCompany" /> -->

<!-- <INSTALLLOCATION Value="%programfiles%\Microsoft Office" /> -->

<!-- <ARP ARPNOMODIFY="YES" /> -->

<!-- <LIS CACHEACTION="CacheOnly" /> -->

<!-- <SOURCELIST Value="\\server1\share\Office12;\\server2\share\Office12"
/> -->

<!-- <DistributionPoint Location="\\server\share\Office12" /> -->

<!-- <OptionState Id="OptionID" State="absent" Children="force" /> -->

<!-- <Setting Id="Reboot" Value="IfNeeded" /> -->

<!-- <Command Path="msiexec.exe" Args="/i \\server\share\my.msi"
QuietArg="/q" ChainPosition="after" Execute="install" /> -->

</Configuration>

I specified the location of the config.xml in the command line with no avail.

Please help................

I think this is a known issue in 2007, that the ARP related properties
don't work in 2007, not just with Visio....any Office suite or standalone
app. Check with the Office Setup discussions group to see if anyone there
has any more info...
