Inspecting .vsd files without opening

Is there any method to inspecting .vsd files without opening them?
e.g. you want to see if a specific text string, "ABC Company" exists in a
group of .vsd files. But you don't want to open each one to look for the
text string.

That is not possible with the VSD file format, however the new XML file
format in Visio2002 will (naturally) support that.
format in Visio2002 will (naturally) support that.
