Hi all,

I would like to ask for help here. When I try to open a .vsd file I'm
receiving the following message: The Microsoft office Visio viewer was not
able to complete the operation.

Does anyone can help me with that please?

What version?
Have you applied Security Update for Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2007
(KB973709) ?

If not, you need too because the viewer won't work without it

Also, have you tried my free wrapper for the viewer -

After apply the security update for Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2007 I
still get the same error message, "The Microsoft office Visio viewer was not

able to complete the operation".

I have tried older version of Microsoft Visio Viewer but still having same
problem.
However, a full version of Microsoft Office Visio can open that vsd file.
