Microsoft Visio 2002, can no longer do "save as"

All other functions work, but save as causes the program to hang. I do not
even get the dialog box. The only way to exit the program at this point is
to end task. I have uninstalled and re-installed and loaded the service
packs, updated windows and office and still can not get "save as" to work.
Normal saves in native visio format work fine.
