Try this. (I don't have access to my AS/400 from my Visio 2000...)
1. Start Visio 2000
2. Use 'New - Database - Database Model Diagram'
3. Use 'Database - Reverse Engineer'
4. Select 'IBM DB2 Universal Database' under Installed Visio Drivers
5. Select your AS/400 ODBC data source under Data sources
5.a Click 'New' and create one, selecting the AS/400 ODBC driver.
** NOTE: Make sure the ODBC driver type makes the visio driver type...
6. Click Next
7. Select the object types you want imported
8. Click Next
9. I suspect various lists will appear depending on what object types you
requested and what types are available...
10. Click Finish when you are at the end of the Wizard.
11. Use 'Database - View - Tables' to see the list of tables
12. Drag tables to the drawing page...
13. ...
Hope this helps
