Job Title: Datastage Developer
Location: Lebanon, NJ

Job Description: F2F Interview Required
Experienced Data Analyst/ETL Developer with proven experience
designing and developing transformation rules to support dimensional
databases. Candidates should have experience working in complex
environments and in doing the hands on work of designing and coding
extract, transform and load logic for large scale systems.
Responsibilities include active participation in a small team charged
with the development of a data mart to support analytical analysis
including experience and persistency studies. This individual will
participate in requirements and design sessions as well as being
responsible for the development of ETL logic to meet business
requirements for reporting and analytic databases. Specific
responsibilities include analysis of data sources and requirements and
business rules, perform logical and physical data modeling, write
prototype SQL to prove data transforms, write specs for ETL
development, implement and test database design.
Experience in the insurance industry is desired, experience in the
financial services industry is required. Candidates must be well
versed in Oracle and SQL, with expertise in dimensional and large
databases. Hands-on expertise in IBM's Data Stage product is required.
ERWIN experience is highly preferred. More detailed daily duties and
responsibilities are listed below.

Job Qualifications / Skills Required:
-Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-8+ years of demonstrated expertise in database design and development
including ETL processes
-5+ years hands on experience with IBM's Data Stage product
-Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and Modeling techniques
-Strong background in Data Warehousing principles and methodologies
-Experience with large scale development, data integration and
analytical projects are required
-Experience with large/very large databases is required
-Strong SQL skills on the Oracle platform is required
-Experience with any Data Modeling tool preferably ER-Studio is
required
-Work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, deadline driven
environment
-Knowledge of IBM's Change Data Capture product is a plus
-Knowledge of Tibco's Spotfire product is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills
