I have been developing a Visio graphic program for a database and I have
made good progress, but I am basically struggling through the process via
trail and error. I am looking for more advanced programming samples.
Thanks,
Chris
I appreciate the response. Regarding "Professional Development with Visio
2000". I have read some of the reviews of this book located on Amazon and
the reviews are not very favorable. Can you offer your opinion on this book.
I am looking for a book that has greater depth and detail regarding Visio.
Most of the Visio books I have found at the bookstores are all very basic
and are geared for beginners.
BTW: I located a used copy of the Graham Wideman's book, and I purchased it.
Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Dave's book is a companion to DVS and has chapters dedicated to using Visio
with other VBA enabled MS Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint,
Outlook...). I have no problems with the book, some of the comments are
valid, but not worthy of discounting the book. If you can find a copy in a
bookstore or library, take a look at it.
Graham has a lot of information in his books, but sometimes it is tricky
navigating the book. He should be working on the second update to the book
to coincide with the next release of Visio.

Ok, thanks. Amazon is selling the book for $13 so it is not much of a risk.
I think that I will purchase it.
Thanks,
Chris

I received the Dave Edson book today. It looks like it is going to be a very
good source.
Thanks for the reference,
