i AM LOOKING AT A .VDX FILE AND WANT TO PARSE THIS FILE WITH A DOM PARSER. i
WANT TO COLLECT ALL CHILD SHAPES THAT ARE CAONAINED WITHIN A FUNCTIONAL BAND.
hOW DO I DO THAT? ESSENTIALLY, WHAT DIFFERENTIATED A SHAPE THAT IS CONTAINED
WITHIN A FUNCTIONAL BAND AND A SHAPE THAT IS NOT CONTAINED WITHIN A
FUNCTIONAL BAND?.

There's an example over on Chris Roth's site that describes how to analyze
the shape connectivity of a process diagram. You might want to check it out
to understand what's happening.
